When can I use my timeshare or fractional property?

There are several ownership usage types available: 1) fixed week, which gives the owner usage of the property for the same week each year; 2) floating week, a flexible option which allows the owner to reserve vacation time on a first-come, first-served basis; 3) floating week on a fixed rotation, which means that the owner’s week will rotate forward or backward throughout the year, allowing for shared access of the most in-demand weeks; and 4) points-based programs, in which owners use currency-like points to make reservations.
